"There isn’t a single person in this city within whom I exist. My potential identities are not borne by their minds. If I am unseen, unheard I am only alive to myself. I’m unimagined."

BAD COMPANY is a 3D first-person absurdist art game about mental states and spaces, particularly dealing with the idea of loneliness. This a reaching rock-bottom simulator, made in collaboration with writer Shaan Forster.

Guided by subtitles as if the game were a film (which acts as instructions), the player explores the physical life and the thoughts and struggles of the unnamed character they are playing, who battles with loneliness and addiction. The game draws from absurdism in that there is no goal/win state. It rather is a simulation that allows for the exploration of a narrative.

This is a prototype.
